This puts a wrap on our inaugural semi-shameless, completely-shamless subscriber drive. The delightful gift bags of swag are being packed and shipped. Thank you so much for reading, sharing, signing up, and caring.
We grew our readership by about ten percent in six days, and we’d like to welcome all of you who’ve joined our busy little family.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we drew a name each day from the dozens and dozens who shared our stories on social media. Our three winners are:
Jessica from Missouri who says “The Daily Blur offers me nuggets of gold I’m able to use no matter what hat I’m wearing in my life. The “voice” each blog post is written in is relatable and professional. I appreciate the work you guys do and the information you provide to all your subscribers free of charge! It’s invaluable to me!”
Scott from Indiana who says he’s “been reading the Daily Blur for quite awhile. I appreciate the no-nonsense approach to marketing and advertising.”
Joy from Ohio who says she loves The Daily Blur because “each contributor to the blog shares life with transparency and ‘realness’ as well as common sense, business savvy…. Things I can relate to, and even better, translate to my own interactions in relationships at work and home.”
And Tim from Miles & Company learned…
I learned how many people appreciate our voices, and the way we look at the world.
I also learned pop-up advertising for subscribers does work… but I don’t care. I hate it so much and think it’s such an inconvenience that I’m turning it off forever.
We’re truly grateful for this opportunity to share our stories with you. Lynn will be back Monday with something sure to be short, sweet, and from the heart. Big hats and hearts off to our own Nancy Schneider for making all of this possible by doing the hard behind-the-scenes work and to Deidre for agreeing to triple our original budget.
Have a great weekend. You leave us, as always, in awe.
Thank you,
Tim
[…] was already sharing his stuff on Twitter and so I shared during the contest and low and behold, I was one of 3 winners that were selected. I got a heads up from Tim via a direct message on Twitter and on Black Friday […]
