Guys! Did you hear there is going to be an eclipse on Monday? No joke! Like a full solar eclipse. It hasn’t been widely talked about, so you can thank me later for the insider info.
The bad news is, you only get the full experience if you live in or make the journey to its path. I am not one of the chosen ones up here in Michigan. BUT Tim, Ryan, and Dee along with their Wizard of Ads partners and a handful of super smart and resourceful business owners are going to get the full effect in Nashville during a one day event called AdTalks. They’re going to talk about improving their awesome businesses, eat some awesome food, and take a break to watch the awesome eclipse. Are you jealous? Because I am.
Also, in case you live under a rock and missed it, we are looking for some smart people to join a launch team for Tim’s new book. Wanna be a part of something amazing? Apply here.
Stuff we wrote this past week:
On Friday, Practically Social is here to help. We shared some stories of kindness and some insight into why this coming eclipse is so dang cool.
Stuff we liked this week:
First, first fabric softener and now mediocre chain restaurants. Those dang millennials.
Second, politics may give you a headache, but it’s not all bad. Here are some excellent lessons from an excellent governor. Thanks for sharing, Manley Miller.
Third, these before and after pictures of dogs being adopted from a shelter may require an extra box of tissues for your happy tears.
Fourth, your parents lied to you. You may not be as special and unique as they led you to believe.
Fifth, listen up folks, service is selling.
How can we help you?
Well, so that’s a start to our weekend and yours as well. We’ll grow this a little over time as we add content and think of other stuff. During the week, we’re primarily going to write about the five major levels of The First Order of Business, and we’ll share our best tips on management, marketing, and motivation.
In addition, we take requests. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s a topic you’d like us to tackle.
Thanks for your time! Enjoy your weekend!
