I hope you had a great week. I’m going to kick off the weekend with the poetic stylings of Dr. Suess:
As you already know.
You’ll get mixed up
With many strange birds as you go.
So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
And remember that Life’s
A Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left. And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!
(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)
Stuff we wrote this past week:
On Wednesday, Funny Business returned to talk all things Canada. List includes, but not limited to: poutine, meat vending machines, and curling…did you expect anything different? (Added bonus: Tim debuts his Canadian accent for us all).
On Thursday, Tim shared a sneak peek of his new talk, T.L.C – Leading with Love. If you haven’t watched it yet, go do it now. It’s alright I’ll wait. Go.
On Friday, in Practically Social we shared leaked footage from The Last Jedi. Oh wait, no, we’re saving that for a different week…you should check this week out anyway.
Stuff we liked this week:
First, well this is just terrifying.
Second, Mike Rowe talks about standing by something he believes in even when some knuckleheads have an issue with it. He’s doing it right, folks.
Third, listen to the podcast above about why Canadians are awesome, then watch this video for reinforcement.
Fourth, nothing ruins a party like standard economic theory, amiright?
Fifth, cooler than Coolio? I think yes.
How can we help you?
Well, so that’s a start to our weekend and yours as well. We’ll grow this a little over time as we add content and think of other stuff. During the week, we’re primarily going to write about the five major levels of The First Order of Business, and we’ll share our best tips on management, marketing, and motivation.
In addition, we take requests. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s a topic you’d like us to tackle.
Thanks for your time! Enjoy your weekend!
