What’s the IAG Referral Program?
Refer a new client to our company. After their third month with us, they’ll pay you our fourth month’s fee. Refer another client, we’ll do it again.
We’ve built a system that gets results. Our latest customer satisfaction score was 100%. Now, we’d like to grow responsibly by helping some select owner-operated companies to do the same.
Between you and us, we have two more people we’d like to hire. We already know who they are, and they’re awesome, and they have special, complementary skills to our current team. To do so, we’re looking to grow a bit, and we’d prefer to do it with clients pretty much like the ones we have now.
What You Have To Do
To earn your referral fee, introduce and recommend us to an owner-operated company. It requires more than just sending us their name and phone number. You need to make a mutual introduction and let them know you think we’re pretty awesome. Then, they have to call or email us to set up the initial conversation. They have to pass our vetting process. These are people with whom we’re going to spend a bunch of time over hopefully the next couple decades. We need to be a good fit for one another.
What You Get
We’re somewhat different. Rather than charging a percentage of an ad budget or doing billable hours, we charge an upfront fee for our diagnostic and strategic plan, then a flat monthly fee to help our clients execute that plan. That monthly fee ranges from $1000 to $5000 depending on the size of the client and what we do for them.
In your referred client’s fourth month with us, we won’t send them an invoice. You will. In their fourth month with us, they’ll pay you that $1000 to $5000.

Our Ideal Client
We’re picky. To help you, here’s what we’re looking for, and what we’re NOT looking for :
- is an owner-operated company doing more than $1m and less than $50mm in sales
- is pleasant – even fun – to work with
- is good at what they do
- is open to new, exciting, and occasionally bugnuts crazy ideas
- has traditional midwestern family values
- has potential to grow
- pays our bill on time
- provides a service (maybe a product too, but service definitely)
- decision makers are present in the company
OUR IDEAL CLIENT IS NOT:
- looking simply for a short-term fix
- wanting us to run their business for them
- difficult, unpredictable or volatile
- of questionable character
- a car dealer
- a bar manager
- at max of market with no plan to expand or grow
- unwilling to relinquish control of marketing or enjoys dabbling in it
