As an internationally-renowned leadership, marketing, and motivational speaker, Tim Miles earns rave reviews and off-the-chart evaluations from conventions, conferences, and companies for his presentations, webinars, and workshops.
To paraphrase screenwriter David Freeman, Tim took everything that made him weird as a kid and got people to pay him money for it as an adult. His unique blend of humor, motivation, and common sense leaves audiences happy, hopeful, and ready to apply the stuff they’ve learned.

About Tim Miles
Part Dave Barry and part Dave Ramsey, Tim Miles has used common sense, kindness and an unquenchable curiosity to help people—at least those willing to do the work—be more successful more quickly. He runs an odd little communications company that helps owner-operated companies and nonprofit organizations do more with less.
Tim started creating advertising campaigns in 1995. In the ten years that followed, he won more than 80 awards for his ideas and execution of those ideas. Then, on 11/20/05, he decided entering awards shows was kind of a silly way to measure success. That was the day his wife said, “Tim, I think our son has autism.”
Since then, as a consultant and marketing speaker, he’s helped hundreds of companies and thousands of people around the world communicate more powerfully by teaching them to look at the world a little differently.
In 2012, his first book, Good Company: Making It, Keeping It, Being It, went to #1 on Amazon’s Business, Marketing, Sales, and Entrepreneurship charts. His second book, The First Order Of Business, will be released in 2017.

THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS (TIM’S NEW BOOK THIS YEAR)
The bad news? We’re drowning in noise, and your marketing isn’t working as well as it could. Tried-and-trusted marketing methods no longer ring true to today’s consumers – who are bombarded by well over 5000 advertisements each day. That number doesn’t include all the Facebook posts, tweets, videos, or the 2000 text messages the average 18-year-girl sends each month in America. Yet, our clients are not only surviving but thriving in this Age of Rapid Distraction. Our owner-operated clients across the U.S. and Canada are growing by percentages – even multiples! How? That’s the good news. They’re growing by using The First Order of Business – a framework that categorizes and prioritizes communication, management, and marketing for any family business or non-profit organization. It’s also the baseline we use to analyze, diagnose and treat problem areas in our clients’ companies.
But, more than that, it shows our clients what deserves the greatest priority in their marketing, and in fact, what’s got to come first, second, third, fourth, and fifth for any business to be successful. throughout this workshop we’re going to share our research and successes that have helped our clients grow not just by percentages but some by multiples.
If you’re willing to do the work, it can help you grow as well.
T.L.C. – Leading With Love
According to the Gallup organization, disengaged workers cost American companies more than $350,000,000,000 in lost productivity last year, and given the exponentially-increasing number of distractions, how do we find ways to engage employees, manage change, and lead our teams where we need them to go – not only as professionals but as people?
The way we’re working… doesn’t appear to be working. SO… I did something kinda weird… kind of like I’ve been doing my whole life… I got curious, and I went digging under rocks and peering through the fog and peeking through the curtains of the corners of the world to find unusual leaders, invisible heroes, and awesome agents of change *outside* the world of business.
At first, what I learned shocked me… in ways that will blow your mind. Click here to watch a video, learn more, and see a 30-second version of T.L.C. – Leading With Love.
DADDY, I HAVE A QUESTION: 10 Keys To Team, Time, and Serving Others
One day, you’re an award-winning communications professional who decides to quit a high-paying, benefit-rich job to start your own company. Three weeks later, your wife tells you your 13-month-old son has autism, and you start a ten-year journey that teaches you pretty much everything you ever thought you knew about communication was wrong …
Join Tim Miles as he teaches you the true principles of powerful communication. He was given ten blessings from God, His Son, and the beautiful boy who looks at the world a little differently.
Uplifting, educational, heartwarming and funny, this presentation will open your heart as well as your mind.
UNCOVERING YOUR UNIQUE VALUE PROPOSITION
Imagine flying a flag on a big ole’ flag pole around which the tribe of people who think you’re awesome can gather, hold hands, and sing or pray or dance or celebrate you. What’s on that flag? What’s uniquely stamped into your DNA that’s causing people do business with you or watch you or listen to your or share you? It’s already inside the actions and words you’re using. It’s embedded in the awesome that is you.
And in this Age of Rapid Distraction, we’re drawn to singular truth like moths to a flame. We’re a culture in search of connection, and if you correctly decode the strands of your unique value proposition, you’ll raise your flag high and shine a light upon it so bright that your tribe will come from near and far to join you.
Interestingly… our team has come up with a series of exercises to help your team do just that.

You get it. I get it. We all get it, but why do some of us haaaaaaaate it? Pendulum: A Mind-Blowing Look At The Forces Changing Your World
What if you could know what was going to happen next in the world? Or, at the very least, understand the Swiss-watch-like predictability of communication styles for the last few hundred years. You’ll look (and laugh) at the driving forces that have made western society what it is today, and afterward, you’ll feel MUCH more comfortable and confident in the decisions you make in the weeks, months, and years to come.
The Civic’s Lessons: The 13 Ways of the We Generation (aka, “Oh, those Millennials…”)
Originally created as a sequel to the very popular Pendulum as practical applications of the theory, The Civic’s Lessons looks at today’s unspoken rules of order. It also explains why Millennials exasperate their preceding generations and vice versa. It also offers you 13 things to do about it. (You do not need to have seen Pendulum to learn from The Civic’s Lessons, though together they make a great workshop opening/closing keynote combination).
