(Mondays are Lynn Miles Peisker days at The Daily Blur. Lynn’s the Executive Sister and Chief Plate Spinner at the Imagination Advisory Group. Check out her growing archive of posts here.)
Panic is a funny thing.
If I let it, it could absorb all my free time from now until Christmas. Instead, I think I will develop a strategy for the holidays, focus on relationships, and enjoy the countdown. I will work my plan.
What throws you into a state of panic? Did your sales calls dip this week? Did you get fewer phone calls in response to that Veteran’s Day Sale ad?
At IAG, we don’ t believe in panic. We believe in diet and exercise. (Although you might not guess that to look at us!)
The diet and exercise of marketing takes time. It takes strategy. It takes the fortitude not to panic when a week doesn’t go as you’d planned.
The long term benefit of working a strategic plan, developing your brand and engaging the customer in a long-term relationship will pay off.
Just ask our clients. Since October of 2008 – the start of America’s economic downturn – most of our clients, including all our home services clients – have experienced (and enjoyed!) double-digit and triple-digit growth.
Where will you be in 42 sleeps? Don’t know. We’re more interested in where you’ll be in 364 sleeps.
Diet and exercise will get you there every time.
