Who are you trying to please?
What are you promising?
How much money are you trying to make?
How much freedom are you willing to trade for opportunity?
What are you trying to change?
What do you want people to say about you?
Which people?
Do we care about you?
(and after each answer, ask ‘why?’)
I’d love to know your answers. I’m considering sharing mine if you’ll do the same.
By the way, it probably goes without saying, but I betcha five bucks that if you actually stop, think, and write down an answer to each of the questions, you’ll be shockingly closer to your goals for 2010 than if you just sit and stare at the questions for a minute and get back to the business of busy.
