Hope all is well. I’m on the road to speak a couple times this week. I’m writing from the simply beautiful Hanover College on the banks of the Ohio River in Indiana. Then, I’ll head over to Springfield, Illinois to speak to about a thousand volunteers on Thursday.
(All that just to set up this cheesy line …)
Speaking of speaking, I got a sneak preview of a video the Rainsoft Corporation is putting together of their annual meeting. They sent me the CAM1 (camera 1 of 3) feed of a new talk I’m giving that really serves as a sequel to the Pendulum (for those familiar with it).
It’s called The Civic Lessons: Notes from an Emerging Generation.
It’s actionable, it’s fun, and to date – no one’s thrown fruit. I’m finishing the manuscript for a new book on the same subject, and it’ll soon be a telecourse at Wizard Academy down in Austin. But … that’s getting ahead of myself.
While I go deliver it here at the Indiana Regional Governor’s Conference, feel free to take a look at the introduction to its debut back in August.
I don’t even have it up on the speaking page yet, but if you’d like to know more, feel free to contact me.
