Thursday morning, Steve Rae offered to help us out without pay during Ryan’s absence.
Midday Thursday, while I drove home with my family, Lynn met with a client, then handled client calls and suggested strategies I couldn’t have done better myself.
Thursday afternoon, I listened to Adam Donmoyer explain a media strategy to our client that showed not only brains but heart. Adam – who gets paid on commission – called spending less of the client’s money “winning” because it was in their best interest.
Thursday evening, I’m typing this post, so blessed to be surrounded by people with whom I share goals and values.
Yes, there are times when I think about seeking funding and growing quickly, but then I remember people like Jay, Steve, Lynn, and Adam took Dee, Ryan, and me years to find.
I’ll take bootstrapping. I’ll take A-plus players. I’ll take my time.
Our clients are worth it. Our families are worth it. Our commitment to each other is worth it.
