I’m in Austin, Texas, this morning getting ready for two days of meetings with some of the brightest small business strategists, writers, and thinkers from across the world.
I suggest you do the same.
At least once a year, join up with the best from your own ranks and learn and teach and question and answer.
Some call them mastermind groups. Fine. That’s as good a title as any.
I’m not talking about networking groups – though I have no problem with organizations like BNI.
I’m talking about people in the same profession as you – but in different markets across the country or, better yet, the world.
Your peers who not only have new answers for you. They have new questions.
We do this twice a year. Sure, we’re all very busy, but it’s a commitment we make to one another to improve. And improve we have.
I know the same will be true for you.
Not sure where or how to get started with something like this? Let me know.
Have a great week.
Oh, and PS – I’m a guest of Dean Rotbart’s on Monday Morning Radio podcast this week talking about the book.
