Within one minute of each other, I had two friends – who don’t know each other – share two different ads wanting my thoughts on them.
Weird. But a good weird! I’ll share my thoughts maybe tomorrow. Feel free to start your discussion tonight.

Thanks, Kathy and Tia – funny thing is … you two would totally be friends if you knew each other.

Eager to hear your thoughts. Liked the concept of the guy who is misunderstood, or rather misdirected. Not sure the ending sold me on wind energy, though. Too subtle transformation, maybe? And did the Coke song make my guy a winner? Or a song leader? Will Coke help me navigate the racing cars of life? Am I looking too deeply here? Am I using too many question marks?

Have you read Patrick Lencioni’s new business fable, “Getting Naked?” If not, add it to your short list.

The concept of “Misunderstood” was novel. I liked how the reveal made you think back at the various scenarios. I thought it played out a little too long, though.
The beauty of the original Coke hilltop ad was that it didn’t feel very commercial at all. Nothing screams more commercialism to me than a NASCAR race. Didn’t work for me at all.
