I wanted to let you know something that’s been going on with our little company.
For the past couple weeks, we’ve been in negotiations with someone to join us.
We’ve been growing, and lots of exciting stuff has been happening, and we’d like to continue that trend – but not at the expense of our current clients who helped get us to where we are today.
My sister, Lynn Miles Peisker, and I are teaming up. She’s joining our little company as our full-time Director of Client Services. She’s been one of my four secret, trusted advisors since we started this whole thing. Now, we’re officially going to grow this whole thing together.
Her focus will be making sure our clients are delighted with our company. This fall, we’re going to begin implementing the Net Promoter Score system to measure their happiness with our partnership.
Lynn’s only been the kindest and most thoughtful person I’ve known in my life. She’s in the gift-giver Hall of Fame.
She’s an accomplished, award-winning communications director for a large organization. She’s a talented writer.
In short, she’s pretty amazing. At my request, she just sent me her list of accomplishments from the last couple years, and it’s two pages long.
We can’t afford her, but that didn’t stop us. Doing the right thing hurts a little bit.
I’m so excited I nearly wet myself.
Our company has always done good work, and with Ryan Patrick helping for the past year, our work’s only gotten better. That will continue with the addition of a couple writers to work under Ryan and me. Our goal is to get to fifty honest, talented, passionate, caring clients by 2014. We can’t do that without policies, systems and procedures to help us delight them all.
Lynn’s never met a policy, system or procedure she couldn’t shape – with a smile.
She will start on July 9th. It’s going to be a neat summer and an even more exciting fall and beyond!
This should be kinda neat. It’s fun when dreams come true and you get to work with your heroes.
If you have any questions, let me know.

Happy to see members of the Miles clan joining forces. I’ve learned so much from following you both just a short amount of time. Congratulations!

You stole Lynn from Unit 4? Ouch!
As to Lynn being all the awesome you speak of…. I so totally agree! She has been a huge piece of putting a bright happy face on the school district. Her accomplishments are nothing to sneeze at, and she performed her tasks without complaining (would John say the same thing? *grin*) and listened no matter how negative the speaker was. She blazed a path on facebook, revitalized several newsletters and helped to make things exciting.
I can only imagine her being an excellent addition wherever she is.
