Tracey Ivanyshyn asks the hard questions. But she asks slightly different ones than you and I.
Her business CRM Canada is growing.
Fast.
Tracey is a unique person with an unusual background for her business. She was a social worker with all the required doses of empathy and compassion.
She plunked that series of skills down in the middle of a cutthroat, tough business environment and it worked. Not only is CRM Canada growing fast, it is growing by multiples.
Her business is acting as an intermediary between two parties who disagree over money.
In every business transaction she asks this first tough question,
“What can we do to make all sides of this disagreement happy?”
That is her social worker background coming through. And while she accepts that there may be some pain in the process, what she doesn’t accept is a loss of respect between any of the parties.
The second interesting question she asks at the end of every staff meeting is,
“What am I not seeing in our business?”
It is so important for her to know what she is missing. What her blind spot might be? What is happening in her other offices that she isn’t there to see? Recognizing that this problem exists is important and then having the opportunity to do something about it is what sets winners like Tracey apart.
What are you missing?
