I look up. David has a new bike … hanging from his bar.
Now, the place is chock with framed whosits and whatsits … no bike. Until now. And it’s a biggun.
I sat during the lunch rush and ate with friends. I overheard at least five people talk about the wall-hung bike.
Well done, New Belgian Brewing Company (it’s a promo for their Fat Tire brand of beer.) EXCEPT … you’ve done my client a great service … because you left people talking about his bike … not your beer.
There are few ways to actually purchase word of mouth … sticking something physically out-of-the-ordinary into an incongruous place is one of them. There are two others.
I wonder if he ever takes it on any sweet jumps …
