Seriously… we will.
So, Ryan Patrick and I—along with our fellow contributor and co-conspirator Lynn Peisker—have a book coming out this fall. Since Ryan and I were both broadcasters for years, we thought a short, sweet, bi-weekly podcast would be a fun way to share topics, stories, and our principles.
Welcome to Funny Business: The 18-Minute Podcast About Management, Marketing, and Meatloaf! We’ll publish new episodes every other Wednesday with hopefully helpful (and helpfully hopeful) and thoughtfully thorough (although not necessarily thoroughly thoughtful) advice.
Why eighteen minutes? Why not? Our goal is to help you learn and laugh and take a brief break from your driven day.
It’s available now for download and subscription at iTunes, available on Google Play, as well as Stitcher Radio, and through our RSS feed, as well as available for listening pretty much wherever you get your other podcasts. We’ll publish and email out new episodes here and archive past episodes at FunnyBusinessPodcast.com.
Questions for us? Awesome! Email us at yo@funnybusinesspodcast.com, and we’ll answer your question as best we can.
Here’s our official (using that term very loosely) description:
Tim Miles and Ryan Patrick use their combined 40+ years experience working with family businesses to share stories, offer advice, and cut through the buzzword-saturated clutter of marketing and management advice.
Part Dave Barry and part Dave Ramsey, these two guys look at the world—and the world of business—a little bit differently (and a little bit irreverently), and they’ve helped hundreds of businesses and thousands of people communicate more powerfully as a result.
SEASON 1, EPISODE 1: “We’ll Get Better.”
In this premiere episode of Funny Business, Ryan and I lay the groundwork for their topics, discuss Steven Tyler’s airport etiquette, and tell you why they don’t believe in small business.
That’s right, we do NOT believe in small business.
Huh? Download our podcast now and find out what in the world we’re talking about.
