Hey, what’s going on? I’m Tim Miles, founder and head custodian of the Imagination Advisory Group with this week’s Milestone For Small Business.
Someone emailed us and asked, “What do you think is the best book for small business owners that’s been released so far in 2012?”
That’s a tough question.
There have been so many good books covering so many valuable topics in 2012 that I can’t really say for sure which one is the best except maybe one’s that’ s released today.
Here, this one. [Pointing to front cover] It’s a metaphor. [Pointing to author photo] He’s handsome.
This is my book and it comes out today and it’s available on Amazon.com.
It’s called Good Company, Making It, Keeping It and Being It.
You see, fish don’t know they’re in water. We’ve been like that, too, and all of the sudden we’re trapped and confused.
The world is rapidly changing stripe and color around us, and so I wrote this book to help you by giving you some case studies about things we’ve done that worked for our clients.
It’s essentially a book in three parts:
Making Good Company are stories and case studies about strategic planning, building things from the ground up or rebuilding them or recalibrating them from the ground up for your small business.
Keeping Good Company is about some of the copy that we’ve used, some of the ads we’ve written and some of the things we know to be true about delightful customer service and how to implement your own share worthy customer service program.
Then the third part is Being Good Company and it’s a more personal look at our lives and some of the things we’ve learned about good deed doing and how our eyes were opened by our son after he was diagnosed with autism and how we’ve learned, my wife and I, our family has learned, to separate the truly important from the merely urgent.
So, Good Company, the book, soon to be made into a musical, not really.
Buy it. It’s great. It’s 290 pages of fun and happy endings and heartwarming stories and true business success stories that you can emulate and use.
Buy it today on Amazon.com, coming soon, hopefully to bookstores near you.
Good Company, buy it today. That’s it. Just buy it. Buy two, buy ten.
