I don’t get the chance to speak at home very often, but in the next month, I’m doing it twice – once in my current hometown and once where I grew up.
Thursday, March 28th 7:15 – 9:00 AM
The Champaign, Illinois Chamber of Commerce has invited me to speak about customer delight. Breakfast will be served and everyone who attends will get a copy of my bestselling book Good Company: Making It, Keeping It, Being It.
For more information or to register, call (217) 359-1791 or click here to visit their website.
Tuesday, April 16th 11:30 – 1:00
The Columbia, Missouri Chamber of Commerce has invited me to speak about the lessons I’ve learned from my 8-year-old son, Will, about communication. Before he turned two, Will was diagnosed with autism. This will be a modified version of the TEDx talk I gave last year at the Reynolds Journalism Institute at The University of Missouri.
For more information or to register, call (573) 874-1132 or click here to visit their website.
I’ll also be doing a few long-form seminars in Iowa and Ohio in April. If you’d like more information about attending or scheduling a seminar, contact our Executive Sister, Lynn.

It would be great if some of your readers provided some examples of “good stuff” here.
Recently my son and his wife visited us here in Panama and they stayed at the Decameron Resort about 120 K from Panama City. I remember him commenting that it was such a pleasure when “no matter what we asked – the answer was yes sir – right away sir. Will there be anything else.
We just came back from a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Colon Panama. Again – I tend to be a tad “hard to please” at times. I cannot say enough about the amazing service, staff and crew that we dealt with. Each interaction was as good as the last or better. Our customer comment card was 5 star all the way. We had heard this type of comment from others but always took it with a grain of salt – so to speak. It was in fact very true. Kudos Royal Caribbean. We are hooked. 🙂 Yes this was our first cruise.
Keep up the good stuff Tim and glad you enjoyed our other backyard (Banff).
