I came across this desktop wallpaper somewhere a few months ago. Today seemed like an appropriate day to share it with you. A different Paul – Paul Hewson – may have written ‘Love Is Blindness,’ but he also wrote a moving tribute to the man we celebrate today.
But, I’m sticking with this Paul today, from his first letter to them folks from Corinth. On this day, I will only disagree with him in this respect: sometimes, a little pride helps us persevere.
Download it and put it on your own desktop if you wish, but more importantly today (and each day this week):
Spend a few minutes reading, absorbing and remembering Paul’s defining characteristics of love.
Oh, and PS – I taught my daughter how to do eskimo kisses over the weekend. I’m not boasting. I’m not self-seeking … I’m just sayin’ … : )

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Appreciate it!
