My First Attempt at Political Speechwriting

Have done my first-ever political speechwriting.

The boy announced he’d like to run for 2nd grade delegate to student council.

I asked him why and he said, “I’d like to help with our education and field trips.”

I asked where he’d like to take the class, and it led us to this speech he’ll be giving tomorrow.

Hi. I’m Will, and I’m running for student council.

I’m running because I feel I have great educational ideas for things like field trips.

For example, we could learn so much as a class by going to Chuck E. Cheese.

We can learn math and money by counting tokens and tickets.

We can learn angles and force by playing whack a mole and air hockey.

We can learn about science and wind resistance playing that nascar racing game or motorcycle rally.

And I have only scratched the surface of the educational benefits of Chuck E. Cheese.

That’s only one of my plans if you elect me, Will Miles, to student council.

So, remember, a vote for Will Miles is a vote for better education through pizza and large mice.
