I was in Walgreen’s not long ago and, while waiting in line, spied an interesting, consumer-friendly solution to a parallel problem to web development.
1. Choose the three to six problems consumers have that you fix.
2. Using language customers use, make a big, honkin’ button for each in a different color on your homepage.
3. Design customer scenarios that lead visitors through my almost-RACECAR method of copywriting.
4. Make money. Give me royalties. (Don’t worry. I’ll donate them to charity.)
You probably oughta give some money to Walgreen’s, too.
