What is it, specifically, you’re trying to make happen? Can you tell me with such brevity and clarity that my 8-year-old (admittedly brilliant) daughter can understand?
If you have more than one goal, have you prioritized them? What if two of your goals come into conflict – which one has priority?
Does your team know these things? If I asked them the same questions, would their answers mirror yours?
They better.
What does your company stand for? What does your company stand against? What are the non-negotiable standards and values by which you make decisions?
Tell me about your ideal employee. What’s she like? Why is that your ideal?
Tell me about your ideal customer? What’s he like? Why is that your ideal?

They better.
